Maps will be the last things I do.

Jump Point ZetaThis is the sprawling military base. The runners start out at the end of basic training. Just as their team is resting from a 25 mile full pack hike the base is attacked. The defense grid is down and every second more and more enemy shock troops are Para jumping in. To make matters worse a group of planet Runners have dropped outside of the base's outer and currently disabled defense grid. |
Objectives:
1. (To Arms) Fight your way to the main defense building. Too bad they did not give you real ammo, your guns are worthless. Should you try to repair the defense grid using whatever you can find for weapons or go for the armory and get some working weapons but fight a greater horde. Where is the Sergeant, he would know what too do. 2. (Mind tricks) You have breached the central defense building and taken out the saboteurs but a virus has been let loose into the Mainframe, if you do not stop it it will completely crash the system. Time for some of the team to go on a cyber run and destroy the virus, then they can activate the defense grid. But can the rest of the team hold off the attackers long enough to make the run?
3. (Sarge!) The sergeant is found but he is mortally wounded. With his dieing breath he hands you a keycard and a data crystal. Support arrives but one of the majors claims that he saw you sabotage the defense grid. Looks like someone has done some quick editing of the security vids, even you almost forget that you were the one that saved the base. In any case you are marched into a prison transport and are being shipped to the capital for questioning. Luckily the transport crashes a few min after takeoff, or is it. You are stuck in the New Mexico desert with only a few provisions and the guards weapons. Should you try and make it back to the base or go for New Artesia as the sergeant asked. What wild beast roam the desert and who shot the transport down? |

New ArtesiaA small city 20 miles from the military base. Like most cities it has it's all types of humans and creatures. It does have one other thing, a private space port. |
Objectives:
1. (For a few pennies more) You have a key card and the data crystal the sergeant gave you but what does it fit? You have to lay low but you need money to survive and buy equipment. Time to find a Johnson and go on some runs. 2. (Echoes) You have found the sergeants home address, it's here in New Artesia smack dab in the middle of the Halloweeners territory. They will give you save passage but only if you do them a BIG favor. 3. (My kingdom for a ship) The sergeant's key card is for a shuttle craft and the crystal holds a map of an asteroid field and one asteroid highlighted. More importantly your net runs have lead you to believe that the proof that you were framed may be on that asteroid. Now all you have to do is grab the sergeants shuttle and fly to the base. Too bad that the military, the corp strike teams and some one else knows were you are. Can you fight your way to the spaceport before reinforcements arrive? |

Star Base AlphaThe first commercial space station built now almost 100 years old. Taken over by less desirable people the base is one of the few places you can safely dock. |
Objectives:
1. (You are here) The data crystal has an area map of the asteroid belt, you must gain access to the bases star maps so you can reference your map. Someone has been asking for you but they don't seem to be military or police officials. 2. (Sold out!) The space stations governor has locked you out of the sergeants shuttle bay and the enemy is moving in. The only bright side is that no one dares use side arms thus risking a hull breach. This will be an old fashion knife fight, good thing you brought swords. 3. (You keys please!) You have caught the governor as he was trying to make his escape in her private Corvette. This is a lucky break since the sergeants ship had just been blown up. But what is making the gang planks shake? Guard bots! This far into the ship they will not hesitate to fire on you. You slug throwers only dent the bots armor. If half the team can make it back to the governors private arsenal and finds better weapons while the other group jacks in and takes over some of the systems you may be able to keep the bots busy. |
